That might be panels and a smart charger, a solar carport where the roof will not do, a full solar-battery-charger package, an off-grid system for somewhere the mains does not reach, or a commercial setup for a workplace or fleet.

Installation work is carried out by qualified, accredited installers — solar PV is fitted to the MCS standard that underpins Smart Export Guarantee payments — so the parts that need certifying are certified. You deal with one team that understands the sun-to-car chain end to end, rather than juggling a panel company, an electrician and a charger brand who never speak to each other.
